To the full article at BloombergI love We Work. My company worked in the Charging Bull location while renovating its old office -- and we liked it so much that, once we were able to move from that office, we voluntarily gave up our brick-and-mortar space for Tower 49. We also moved our LA office into a We Work. I realized after being here for a while that what we get from We Work is not just space but culture. We Work excels at creating a vibrant workplace. It's easy to be here -- there's always fresh coffee, the staff is always friendly and quick to help -- but it's also fun. There are frequent networking events, free food, beer on tap. Our staff loves being here and we hope that, no matter how we grow, we will be able to remain here for the long term. I've personally worked in two We Work locations plus squatted in a couple others. Tower 49 in particular has to be the best of all of them. It's a large facility with a lot of people -- and therefore a lot of variety and interaction. But best of all are the staff here. They couldn't be more personable or helpful. I give them and the entire place 5 stars!
This space is great! We moved into this WeWork a few months ago and it's been a dream! The community staff is polite and extremely helpful to our 20+ person team, and the amenities are the best. Free beer, free coffee, young/relaxed working environment, and close to the subway. Exactly what we need. Not to mention the amazing networking events they have at Tower 49 and the surrounding WeWork locations! Would definitely recommend Tower 49 to anyone looking for a fun new office space!
I moved into a WeWork office at Tower 49 at the beginning of May 2017 and it has been a terrific experience! It is an all-around upbeat atmosphere in a professional environment, and the friendly staff members are incredibly helpful and respond to any request within minutes. The location is convenient and my clients have also said how much they like the space. WeWork and other companies host events every week so there is a real sense of community and excellent networking opportunities within Tower 49 and the entire WeWork membership.
I was the first tenant to move into this location when it opened in March. Previously I was in another shared office space in Rocekfeller Center. I was excited to move into a WeWork location as WeWork offers greater value and benefits than my previous space. I believe Tower 49 is the largest WeWork location in New York City. The collection of companies, and tenants is diverse and covers many industries. This location has great natural light due to the large windows, high ceilings, and color scheme WeWork chose. I have worked out of other WeWork locations throughout New York City and other cities, and Tower 49 continues to be my favorite. A fantastic staff makes all the difference, and they have a great team here.
Our office is located in this building and my coworkers and I really like the space. The floors are always clean and the WeWork staff is polite and helpful, the facilities are modern and function well (printers and such). Besides that, WeWork frequently hosts events by other companies introducing new products and services which allow employees of different firms to mingle -- the highlight of the last week, for example, was The Economist's event, during which the reps offered ice cream and discounted subscriptions. WeWork 49 really does feel like a community and that's great. I would definitely recommend this workspace.
