About CENTRAL WORKING Manchester Deansgate
Central Working's Grade II listed Manchester club lies a stone's throw from the city centre. About Central Working

EO Entrepreneur, James Layfield, and former Head of Service Development at Virgin Atlantic, Steve Pette, have teamed up to create the ideal environment for growing businesses. Introduced whilst at Virgin, after branching out on their own the duo’s frustration at the government’s lack of support for SMEs, coupled with their passion for entrepreneurship, led to the creation of Central Working. Their aim? To boost the UK economy by helping 10,000 SMEs grow over the next 10 years. Central Working clubs provide the ideal environment for growing businesses. They offer you the support, infrastructure and tools needed to create the connections, momentum and recognition that will help you grow your businesses and develop your skills and team. If you’ve ever found yourself working in a coffee shop then Central is for you. They have taken the best bits of the coffee culture and added all the things you really need: printing and plugs, storage and stationery, 3 bespoke meeting rooms and, most importantly, collaboration with smart, passionate business people. Blending an innovative workspace with a street facing coffee bar, Central provides a welcoming and collaborative place to meet, eat and work, right on the high street. The Central Working Marketplace serves only the most aromatic Mozzo coffee, smoothest Lahloo tea and freshest Genuine Dining Company sandwiches. What’s more, the faces behind Mozzo, Lahloo and Genuine Dining Company are all members of Central Working; Central is always on the look out to help grow our members’ businesses.

Great place to work with a fantastic vibe! Megan is a fantastic asset to Central Working - she has a lovely, bubbly personality and is always willing to help out. Central Working is a great open space with lots of different types of businesses working there - everyone is really friendly.
Bright and light working environment. Some open areas for informal meetings, bookable meeting rooms for more formal workshops. Close to transport links, bars and restaurants. Reliable Wifi, free coffee/tea (or discounts from the Grindsmith Coffee shop downstairs). Going to miss this place when we move to new office space. Thanks Megan for looking after us :-)
Central Working is a fantastic co-working space in a very convenient city centre location. It's close to two tram stops and a bunch of great places to eat and drink.
Rise certainly ‘rises’ above all other office and meeting point venues in Manchester. It is strategically placed in the heart of Manchester close to amenities, the tram/train station and discounted parking facilities for Central Working tenants. Not to mention being above Grindsmith for high quality coffee and meetings. The venue is well equipped with state of the art tech and meeting/presentation rooms, as well as a hub of entrepreneurial talent, including the likes of Tech North; all of which are great for networking and creating a positive and inspirational working environment. The General Manager, Steven Bailey, is very supportive for all your business needs and requirements. He is always smiling, welcoming and professional by making sure Central Working is well maintained and managed.
Great hub of entrepreneurship in a convenient location for every business need you'll have in Manchester. Good vibe and collaborative working environment.
