About The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot first opened its doors in October 2007, after several years’ development by a grassroots group of like-minded folk in Edinburgh, lead by founder and managing director, Claire Carpenter. As Scotland’s Centre for Social Innovation and home of coworking in Edinburgh, The Melting Pot lead the way in ensuring creative, resilient and effective social innovation takes its essential place at the heart of a vibrant society. They do this by providing a range of resources and services, supporting and inspiring their pioneering coworking community and through their successful incubation programme the Good Ideas Academy. The Melting Pot provides flexible part-time/full-time desks and online membership options and a thriving network of over 170 members. They also provide virtual office services if you need a central Edinburgh address; as well as meeting rooms and event space for hire with fantastic catering options.
